Brightmont Academy, an accredited private school, offers the Reading Intervention Program for students in Kindergarten and up. Struggling students get the support they need to improve their reading skills. We offer the following to our students:

Multi-Sensory Curriculum

 A pre-assessment reveals the student's strengths and weaknesses and helps us to hone in on areas of focus such as decoding or reading comprehension.

One-to-one instruction allows one teacher to work with one child — all the time, enabling the student to build skills at their own pace and learning style.

The multi-sensory curriculum is based on the Orton-Gillingham approach and encompasses visual, auditory and tactile learning to improve focus and retention.

A post-assessment shows the student's overall growth. As part of our commitment to helping your child reach the desired learning outcomes, we will provide additional sessions as desired.
